This is a really mysterious release, at least for me. A band from Canada that sounds very modest and relaxed. Each song seems to play off of one another, sort of building up for the end. The two halves of this album are nothing alike... sometimes it sounds like each song was recorded in a different room (and at times in a bathroom), but that creates an interesting touch to the album. It's half way dark, not quite 'there', slow shoegaze released in 1994/1995 through the label Kranky.
