Cocteau Twins - Milk & Kisses

This band is really special, they haven't lost me at any point in their catalog and I feel really in tune with the world when I listen to this. This album of theirs has two of my favorite songs, Serpentskirt and Tishbite, either one is my favorite song in their whole catalog depending on what day it is and which song I am able to remember first. Love this sound, it's very dreary, very dreamy, so tired yet youthful and jovial in that it reminds me of lullabies made for children. Simon Raymonde creates beautiful basslines all throughout the album while Guthries guitar sound scapes shred varied textures and scenes and of course, Elizabeth Frasers voice is just cataclysmic.
