Lime Spiders were (and maybe are) and Australian punk type band that fused in some psychedelic sounds and a ton of garage rock into their music. They're pretty loud, not bone crushing loud of pure noise loud but loud nonetheless. Slave Girl went on to be one of the best selling independent singles of the 1980's.
