Every other shoegaze band is often times compared to MBV, and even though there is the definite influence that MBV had on the entire scene, that doesn't mean all shoegaze is a child of MBV. Regardless of that, this band does fit in with MBV babies. I love this band, so crisp, clean and noisy. Not so overloaded on thumping drums or high end ambient spectacles, but still with the great pop tune the the Valentines put out. The obvious things I could say... My Bloody Valentine, Jesus and Mary Chain with a hint of Velocity Girl cuteness and bam, you got Star.
