I am kind of going to let you in on a secret. I don't know much about this band aside from what is known on last.fm, discogs, and a quick google search. But do you care? No, you're probably going to care an infinitly less amount than I am, and that's alright. It's all alright. This album has Whirlaway being a vast amount of poppier than on Letting Go, in fact it's almost as poppy as their EP (A Sound Stream Broadcast), but without any of the aggressive noisy stuff that made up a large chunk of that release. Most of the songs of this album totally come off as songs that were in 90's movies, teenage angst type of movies, which is pretty good if that's your thing, it is mine most of the time, and here it is very enjoyable to me although I think it's kind of a step back from Letting Go. Oh well. I didn't mention it in my last post, but members of this band went on to do other awesome stuff, one of them being Cymbals Eat Guitars.
