I don't dislike trends, in fact I embrace them. Going through motions of action and concepts is amazing, it's cool that we get to do this as humans, maybe lizards do it too, like "sun bathing near that rock was last season, get with the times dude. Now this rock! It's amazing." What I'm trying to say is that most of the time these trends get a little deluded and die off pretty quickly, which is kind of amazing if you think about how fast we cycle through stuff, how we keep pumping out different shit or are able to go back and make some old worthless and tame thing new and fucking scary. Wait, I lost myself again. Bedroom pop is really cool right now, it is too fucking cool. Target commercial cool, sooner or later you'll hear your neighbors next cassingle pasted onto a Smirnoff commercial. That's just the way things go, I suppose. Pet Rock is really accessible and pushes me into the direction that tells me that accessible music isn't the enemy here, it's people. Pet Rock, keep rocking my friend (please donate some dough to Joseph).
