Seven Percent Solution - Gabriel's Waltz

Very much like the more well known Bethany Curve. The band hails from the very spacey indie rock that feels like falling into a dark blurry tunnel; very much shoegaze like and taking cues from dream pop. They can be one or the other at times, Shoegaze or Dream Pop, but I like them when they hit that really obscure and sad indie vein that is really low and quiet; while a lot of shoegaze is loud and a lot of dream pop is up tempo (sorta). I can't quite name these genres.

Anyways, this album is really slow and groovy in a light manner, the guitars wave around with goth like influences and the vocals are very quiet, saying something you remember from your past. It's very repetitive, but they do have more pop leaned songs, under 4 minutes that are really impressive, an example of this is The End Of Faith. More or less, the rest (to me) sound like really quiet 70's Glam tunes; from Bruise to Lullaby. Really contemporary, probably influenced a lot of modern day adult rock; a lot of background sounds that take center stage.
