Boyracer is a new discovery for me, really new, super recent. Highly awkward sounding but not without a large oomph dosage that pulls some punches. Recorded beautifully and fast paced. Vocals are scratchy and do the lyrics justice, all the while every instrument is blurred into some fragment but not enough for them to blur into one another. A pop punk type band (maybe) with a big fuzz pedal. The songs on this album (like most Boyracer releases) blend together because of how fast they are, you don't really have much time to catch up with the first three songs. Ending beautifully as though a different band is playing, the last track 'Serious Teeth' has a mix of, you know... you'll understand when you listen to it.
