It's 2010 and I'm listening to The Rapture right now.
This is crazy, they've been a band for a very long time and their music predates Ipod commercials (sorta). They (along with.. Hot Hot Heat?) pretty much helped this whole dance punk thing branch out into the mainstream, even though this band never really did the whole mainstream thing. On here they got some Radiohead vocals in some of the songs that really make me feel uncomfortable because of how they sound, but overall... really great jumpy dance beat drums with nice twangy guitars and poppy rhythms. Sometimes this album is too much like Radiohead? Maybe I should start listening to Radiohead.
