One of the more obscure bands from the 90's late emo bloom, but still known well enough to be on Jade Trees The Emo Diaries, Chapter Three: The Moment of Truth. Nothing really screechy or off the wall, but actually quite beautiful. Reminds me a lot of Thursday actually, in terms of music; it's light sounding with lots of dissonance and composure. Vocally, it's your nice emo nasally vocal chords, although the second track on this is really similar to early Coheed and Cambria, the sound on that song is what sealed the deal, for me at least. For not being an overtly violent sounding band, they did a good job at making a pre 2000's post hardcore sounding band; it's as though they laid the blueprints for bands like CoCa, The Used, Alasena and others. It's laidback at times too.
