Ever since I first listened to Bloodshot Bill on the 4th Mongrel Zine compilation I had to hear more, the man is crafty in some sense. He's a one man catastrophe rolling through your neighborhood. It's an honest guess to say that when he comes to your town you better lock up your mother and sister (or wife). That old time vibe he gives off is really popular these days and it's fortunate that he does it well enough to gain some attention in various indie crowds. The push that artists like Gary War and TY Segall have given for one man bands is probably helping as well (which reminds me, I have this one man band compilation ya'll should listen too). On here he teams up with King Khan (?) or King Khan (?) teams up with him and you get a bit of some weird monkey brain eating Indiana Jones vibe, but not at all. Last.fm says 'Unbelievable Hindu A Boo Boo rock n’roll from King Khan and Bloodshot Bill! Hotter than a bucket of chicken vindaloo!' and it does sound like a hot desert castle a bit. Mainly it's just rock and roll.
