There are some things in this lifetime that I do not understand, that I will not understand... I have come to believe that Six Finger Satellite is one of those things. I should have just stepped away a few weeks ago and forgotten this band, but over and over the overtly punk thrill of these proto dance punk (please don't take that description too seriously) songs just kept beating me on the side of the head. Every angular guitar line is like licking a barbed wire fence surrounding heaven, it sounds like salvation, it tastes like danger, it feels painful. Eerie synth harmonies mark the backgrounds like the fall of the Berlin wall marked a decade. It all sounds like one jangled, threatening song. Hopefully you all enjoy it as much as I do.
