Another quasi nebulous supergroup that delivers. The 'Waiting'-era Thursday vibe is definitely in there, but you get a healthy dose of newskool hardcore too. No wonder since the two certain members are singer Geoff Rickly from Thursday and drummer Ben Koller of Converge. Rumored contributors include vocalist Daryl Palumbo of Glassjaw, drummer Chris Conger from The Number 12LLY, and several other guys whose names I saw but did not recognize.The sound here is furious, hectic, urgent. The approach is intelligent and dynamic although brief. The Sex Pistols references are kinda misleading as the raging captured here is very poised and technically provocative. However, the punkrawkin is available as long as you are happy with mid to late 90s east coast "post" or experimental punk bands like the ones already affiliated with this collective. Their first album was also criminally overlooked, and I will probably throw it up here soon actually.
