I think by now most people into most independent forms of music have at least listened to a few of the Massacre's songs; at the very least those that were made popular by the dramatic documentary staring The BJM (and the Dandy Warhols) by the name of DIG. If you haven't listened to any, then this probably isn't the most interesting place to start, but if you think you have the energy to do it than by all means do so, you'll be doing yourself a favor. The album is spaced out and drenched in acid rain than as it features a 4 track (more than likely 12 track) style recording and 6+ minute long space cruises that are completely legendary and prove that the entire concept of The BJM is necessary. This is their debut album, it is where it all started; starring Matt Hollywood, Jeffrey Davies, Rick Maymi, Thravis Threlkel and Anton Newcombe. This is the 2003 release version with the six additional songs.
