X - Los Angeles

X was born in the fast paced charge of Los Angeles' always ever evolving music scene during 1977. A grasp at the attention of early 80's punks brought this band to the top of whatever bar/clubs would allow punk music. In 1980 they released one of punks most celebrated and inspirational albums. They were loved so much that:

the band received an Official Certificate of Recognition from the City of Los Angeles in acknowledgment of their contributions to Los Angeles music and culture.

Lyrics are spastic bursts of poetry while the music is a sped up version of rockabilly rock and roll; highly enjoyable.
