ESG - A South Bronx Story

Ah, ESG, what hasn't been said of New York's finest? Indeed this band had broken boundaries and made more sense than any of the other New York no wavers that seem to open their mouths and make shit come out of it more than they need to. It has always amazed me that ESG has always taken the backseat to the scene when compared to Teenage Jesus and The Jerks and friends; been sort of amazing how the most annoying figure in the scene (Lydia Lunch) has become a glorified icon in terms of buzzwords and looks, while these fine girls known as ESG have been so fucking influential to hip-hop, RnB and Rap that their song UFO has been sampled literally thousands of times and yet they are relatively unknown in actual name. Oh well, Lydia Lunch, please shut up and may you, dear reader, enjoy this compilation of what truly was New York's finest.
