In 2006 a lot of things started happening in my life, I guess it was because I was in my last year of high school and just wanted to jam pack my disgusting teenage mind with a billion emotions and experiences to make a billion more experiences and emotions occur; what I am getting to is that somehow around that time a young man in France (I don't remember his name) began communicating with me on slsk, he let me know of a little indie venue that he helped run by the name of La Centrale, located somewhere in France, perhaps you have heard of it, perhaps not? Anywho, he introduced me to Sexy Sushi who at the time released this CDr and were making a noisy mess of themselves within the late leg of the electroclash thing that was going on in the past decade. I can say that Sexy Sushi are among one of my favorite electronic acts of any kind, they are harsh but that isn't to say that they are reaching Grey Daturas level of headache rhythms, no, in fact they create a dark throwback sound to some of the more danceable wave music which included darker fantasies and lyrics that had been more popular in the 80's. I don't know what has become of this two piece outfit, but the lyrics to Et Alors are probably the only French that I know.
