Sometimes I come across releases (internet or in real life) and I listen to them once and enjoy them a lot and think about them, listen to them again and then do the same thing with something else a week later. When that happens I usually forget so much of what I have listened to that it gets frustrating. A few weeks ago my buddy asked me about this band named The Satin Peaches and I told him that I have never heard of them, he looked at me like I was an idiot and he reminded me that I put them on his iPod. OOF. Anyways, I revisited these two songs by this band and was blown away yet again. I don't even remember why I put them off! Anyways, these guys and one girl (I think) are definitely mature indie rock/pop stuff; I can, in my opinion, compare them to Tsunami, Velocity Girl and emo/indie rock like The Pine. The first track is very fucking killer and the second one compliments it just perfectly. The lyrics tend to be mature and vaguely sound like pages of someones diary put in a song. I've already typed too much. I actually uploaded it to mediafire, but then deleted the file because I found out that the label is basically giving the 7" mp3's away for free on their bandcamp.
